NEW YORK(CA) Sex tapes come a dime a dozen in Hollywood these days. Even Eva Mendes has a poke at it.
The "Hitch" actress is starring in her own mock sex tape spoof, with "sex" as in "S.EX. - that Secures things Extremely well duct tape" which promises to take care of the "nastiest, dirtiest and most flexible problems you have." Mendes decided to debut the product on funnyordie.com, Will Ferrell's comedic website.
According to the New York Daily News, the 36-year-old actress was inspired to create the fake tape after discovering "Eva Mendes sex tape" was a highly searched term on Google.
It's a night vision clip -- which mocks Paris Hilton's infamous tape -- showing the actress describing how the tape can be used in the bedroom before announcing in her best TV advert sales pitch voice, "Order today!"
Both Mendes and Ferrell are co-stars in the new movie "The Other Guys," which opens Friday
