Many other site provide tutorial how to reset ink waste tank for canon printer, but I write especially for my self so I will not for get to reset ip 1880. just in case I need it's again.

Just follow this tutorial then I guarantee your ink waste tank problem fix.To clear blinking the ink absorber Full

1. Go in service mode

Unplug the printer power cable. Then hold the power button, while the power cable plug into an electric current, press the resume button twice (the power button is pressed ) emerging power button,this make printer go in service mode(power button light normal)

Now we must use software tools for resetting:

A.Download Canon IP 1880 or IP 2500 or IP 1100 Reseter tools

B.Run the tools and follow this steps:

1. Select USB port
2. Click lock release
3. Click ip1800
4. Click device id
5. Clear waste ink counter by clicking MAIN & PLATEN
6. Check EEPROM Box
7. Click EEPROM Dump
8. Test pattern 1
9. Click lock release again then finishes
